Can I start for free?
Yes, you can always scan for free and view your portfolio. You only pay if you want an official report.
Do I have to pay annually?
It depends on the plan. Hobby is per tax year. Pro covers all your tax years (from your first activity up to now) in one purchase, so you don't pay per year. When a new tax year opens later, Pro holders add it for €49.
What if I have thousands of transactions?
Pro has unlimited transactions and covers all your tax years at once. If you have more than 1,000 transactions in a year, Pro is the plan for you, and it includes your full history in the same purchase.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade from Hobby to Pro whenever you need it, we only charge the difference, and your Pro upgrade then covers all your tax years.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption, read-only API access, and are fully GDPR compliant. Your data is hosted in the EU. Read more about our security.
What payment methods do you accept?
We support Bancontact, major credit cards, Apple Pay and SEPA direct debit via Stripe.
When do I need Pro?
When you have more than 1,000 transactions in a given tax year. We detect this automatically and then ask you to upgrade.
How does the fair upgrade (Hobby → Pro) work?
Bought Hobby first and your year turns out to have >1,000 transactions? Then on an upgrade you only pay the difference.
Can I share with my accountant?
Yes. After purchase you get a read-only link that you can revoke at any time. No PII required.
Is there a limit on the number of clients?
No. You pay €149 per client per year, one dossier per client, with no bundle or maximum. Add clients whenever you want; each paid dossier is invoiced manually by Cryptotax every month.
Are prior years included?
Yes, the accountant subscription gives access to all tax years per client. No extra cost for prior years.
