You rarely handle a crypto file on your own. The file manager does the review, a colleague prepares it, and the partner only wants to see the overview. That is why Cryptotax now works with firm workspaces: one environment per firm in which multiple team members work together on the same client files, each with the right role.
One workspace per firm
Every accountant on Cryptotax has their own workspace. That is where all client files, the billing and the team live. When you invite your colleagues, they work in the same workspace: everyone sees the same clients, the same file statuses and the same dashboard. No more shared logins or forwarded exports.
Four roles, clear responsibilities
- Owner: full access, including team management, billing and firm details.
- Accountant: fully manages clients: adding files, making corrections, locking reports.
- Assistant: views files, syncs data and adds notes, but does not lock reports.
- Read-only: sees dashboards and client lists, without being able to change anything.
This way you give each staff member exactly the access that fits their role, and the final responsibility for locking reports stays with the person it belongs to.
Inviting team members in a minute
From the team page you invite a colleague by email. The invitation is valid for seven days and is automatically recognized when your colleague logs in with that email address. Once they accept the invitation, the right role is ready immediately. You can revoke invitations at any time, and removing a team member takes effect instantly.
Guided onboarding for new firms
When you register a new firm, an onboarding wizard guides you through four short steps:
- Terms: accept the terms of use for accountants.
- Firm details: fill in your display name, firm name and optionally your VAT number.
- First client: create your first managed client file right away (you can skip this).
- Team: invite colleagues (this step is also optional).
After the wizard you land directly in a working dashboard, with your first file ready for data import.
Billing centralized per firm
Billing runs at the workspace level, not per staff member. You pay per client file (149 euros per client per year, first client free), regardless of how many team members work on it. You can see the usage and the renewal dates on your firm's subscription page.
