Import your Binance transactions into CryptoTax.be via CSV export. Step-by-step guide for a correct Belgian crypto tax return.
How to import Binance transactions into CryptoTax.be
How the Binance integration works
Binance is currently supported via CSV import. A direct API connection is not available. You export your transaction history from Binance and upload it to CryptoTax.be.
What you need
- An account on Binance
- An account on CryptoTax.be (see create account)
Step 1: Export your transaction history from Binance
Trade history
- Log in to Binance and go to Orders > Trade History.
- Click Export on the right.
- Select the desired time period. Binance allows a maximum of 3 months per export; export multiple periods if you need a longer history.
- Click Generate and download the CSV file.

Binance offers separate exports for Binance Earn, staking rewards, and conversions via Wallet > Transaction History > Distribution of Earn.
Step 2: Import the CSV files into CryptoTax.be
- Log in to CryptoTax.be and go to Import > Upload CSV.
- Choose Binance as the exchange from the dropdown menu.
- Upload your downloaded CSV file.
- Click Import.
- Repeat for each downloaded file (trades, deposits, withdrawals, etc.).

Step 3: Check for completeness
Compare the total number of imported transactions in CryptoTax.be with what you see in Binance. Re-export any missing periods and import them.

Important notes
- Binance limits CSV exports to 3 months per download. Export per quarter if you have a long history.
- Futures, margin trading, and Binance Earn have separate export menus. Make sure you export all relevant sections.
- If you are registered via Binance.eu (Euroswitch), you use the same export process.
Troubleshooting
- "Unknown file format" on import: Check that you selected the correct Binance export format and that the file has a
.csvextension. - Missing transactions: Export per shorter time period (per month or quarter) and import each file separately.
- Duplicate transactions after multiple imports: See I see duplicate transactions.
